Sunken Jade (沉璧) features a mesmerizing blue-toned blade created through the 烤蓝 (baked blue) heat treatment process. Like its namesake — a jade disc sinking into dark water — the blue finish creates depth and movement on the steel surface, with the polished white cutting edge providing striking contrast. Hand-forged in Longquan with the classic shinogi-zukuri blade geometry, the 32cm blade is tempered for consistent hardness throughout.

Alloy fittings and cotton ito handle wrapping provide secure, traditional handling. The solid wood saya with piano lacquer finish protects the blade and presents it cleanly on a display stand. At 52cm total length and 800g bare weight, this wakizashi handles with quick, responsive balance.
